The problem I solved.
The context
Plena Syndic is a professional condominium management (síndico) company in Campina Grande, Brazil. Its clients are condominium boards and assemblies, who choose based on trust: the brand had to convey seriousness and method from the first contact, in a market full of blue logos with buildings, roofs and handshakes.
The goal
Create a premium, easy-to-apply visual identity that sets the company apart from local competitors and comes with everyday materials: sales proposal, receipt and email signature.
What was built
- Concept and name: "Syndic" comes from the Greek sýndikos and the Latin syndicus, the origin of the word síndico; "Plena" conveys completeness and integrity. Positioning: "The new standard in condominium management".
- Geometric, modular symbol with rounded corners, legible at 16 px and free of industry clichés.
- Visual system: monochrome palette (black, three greys and white), Inter and Figtree type pairing, hairlines and an alignment grid.
- Six logo versions (horizontal, vertical, with tagline, symbol, wordmark and flat) in SVG, PNG at 512, 1024 and 2048 px, PNG with background and PDF.
- Usage manual with clear space, minimum size, incorrect uses and applications on business cards, stationery, envelopes, social media, signage and a website.
- Browser-editable templates: management proposal with the amount written out, payment receipt with Pix, and an email signature ready to paste into Gmail.
How it was done
Research came before drawing: analysis of the segment, the competition and the psychology of shapes and colors. The logo files were generated by script from a single vector drawing, which keeps every version and size identical. In the images of this case study, personal names, phone numbers and emails are blurred.
